Terms of service
Last updated: September 25, 2026
OVERVIEW
Welcome to Eira Haul. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Eira Haul. Eira Haul operates this online store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services made available through the website (collectively, the “Services”).
Eira Haul is powered by Shopify, which provides the technology that enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced in these Terms (collectively, the “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you access or use our Services.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services or placing an order. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer protection laws.
SECTION 1 — ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws applicable to you in order to place an order through our Services.
If you create an account, you are responsible for providing accurate, current and complete information and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you notify us of unauthorised use.
You may not transfer, sell, assign or otherwise provide your account to another person.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including where an account is used unlawfully, fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
SECTION 2 — OUR PRODUCTS
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, colours, dimensions and other information displayed on our Website are accurate and up to date.
However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your device, display settings and other technical factors.
Minor differences between product images and the actual product do not necessarily constitute a defect where the product otherwise conforms to the description and applicable legal requirements.
We reserve the right to modify product information, discontinue products and limit quantities where reasonably necessary.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights concerning products that are defective, faulty, damaged or otherwise do not conform to the contract or applicable law.
SECTION 3 — ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
When you place an order through our Website, you submit an offer to purchase the products in your order.
After you submit an order, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted if applicable law or our ordering process provides otherwise.
A contract of sale is formed when we accept your order or otherwise confirm that the products have been accepted for fulfilment.
We may refuse or cancel an order where permitted by applicable law, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or product information error;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
- payment cannot be completed;
- an order appears to have been placed for unlawful or abusive purposes; or
- other circumstances exist that permit cancellation under applicable law.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed with you.
You are responsible for reviewing your order details before submitting the order.
Your statutory right of withdrawal and other mandatory consumer rights are not affected by this section.
SECTION 4 — PRICES, TAXES AND PAYMENT
All prices displayed on our Website will be presented in the applicable currency.
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed to consumers include applicable taxes, including VAT where applicable.
Any delivery charges or other additional costs applicable to your order will be clearly disclosed before you place your order.
Prices and promotions may change from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms. Where there is a conflict between the terms of a specific promotion and these Terms, the promotion terms will apply to that promotion.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.
We use third-party payment providers to process payments. We do not normally have access to your full payment card details.
SECTION 5 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We will provide information about available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and applicable delivery costs before you complete your purchase.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date or period has been expressly agreed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as certain carrier disruptions, customs delays, natural disasters or other extraordinary events.
However, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have where an order is not delivered within the applicable period.
If your order is delayed, lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us at: hello@eirahaul.fi
We will work with you and, where appropriate, the delivery provider to resolve the issue in accordance with applicable law.
Risk relating to the products will transfer to you in accordance with applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
SECTION 6 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase of goods within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
For an order consisting of goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. Where an order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the applicable withdrawal period may begin when the last goods are received.
You may also exercise your right of withdrawal before delivery.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must communicate your decision clearly to us within the applicable withdrawal period.
You may contact us at: support@eirahaul.fi
You may use your own wording when notifying us. You may also use any withdrawal form or withdrawal function that we make available on our Website.
From 19 June 2026, where applicable under Finnish law, consumers may also be provided with an online withdrawal function through the same online interface used to conclude the contract.
Return of products
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the products without undue delay and generally no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
Unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy or required by applicable law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning products when you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, provided that we informed you of this obligation before the purchase.
You are responsible for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products.
You may normally examine products in the same way that you would be permitted to examine them in a physical store. You should not use, damage or substantially alter products before returning them.
Refund following withdrawal
When you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments we have received from you in accordance with applicable law.
The refund will normally include the standard delivery cost you paid for the original delivery. If you selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery option we offered, we are not required to refund the additional cost of that upgrade.
We will generally issue the refund no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. However, where permitted by law, we may wait until we have received the returned products or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed with you.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to certain products and circumstances specified by applicable law.
Where an exception applies to a product sold by us, we will provide the required information before you place your order.
SECTION 7 — RETURNS, REFUNDS AND DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
Our Refund and Returns Policy provides additional practical information about returns and refunds.
Nothing in our Refund and Returns Policy or these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
If a product is defective, faulty, damaged or otherwise does not conform to the contract or applicable law, please contact us at: support@eirahaul.fi
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation of the contract.
These statutory rights are separate from any voluntary return or exchange policy that we may offer.
SECTION 8 — LEGAL GUARANTEE
Products sold to consumers are covered by mandatory statutory consumer protection rights and legal guarantees applicable in the country of the consumer, where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights relating to defective, faulty or non-conforming products.
If you believe that a product you purchased from us is defective or does not conform to the contract, please contact us and provide reasonable information about the issue.
We will assess the matter and provide the remedy required by applicable law.
Any voluntary commercial warranty offered by us will apply in addition to, and not instead of, your statutory rights.
SECTION 9 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and their contents, including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos, trademarks, designs, videos, audio, software and the selection and arrangement of these materials, are owned by Eira Haul, its licensors or other respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Services for personal and lawful purposes.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorised by us, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, republish, sell, create derivative works from or otherwise commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
Eira Haul names, logos, product names, designs and slogans are trademarks of Eira Haul or their respective owners.
Shopify names, logos and trademarks belong to Shopify or its respective owners.
SECTION 10 — OPTIONAL AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We may provide access to certain third-party services, tools, integrations or features.
These services are provided by third parties and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not necessarily control or endorse third-party services and are not responsible for their independent operation, content or policies.
Your use of a third-party service is at your own discretion and may be subject to additional terms imposed by that third party.
We may introduce new features, services or tools in the future. Any new features or tools will also be subject to these Terms unless otherwise stated.
SECTION 11 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our Services may contain links to websites, services or resources operated by third parties.
We provide such links for convenience and do not necessarily endorse or control those third-party websites or services.
If you choose to access a third-party website, you do so at your own discretion and risk.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or terms of third-party websites.
Any transaction you make with a third party is between you and that third party.
SECTION 12 — PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Website is powered by Shopify. Shopify may process certain personal information in connection with providing its platform and related services.
For information about how we process personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
Where applicable, information may also be processed by payment providers, delivery providers, analytics providers, marketing providers and other service providers that support our business.
SECTION 13 — FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS
If you voluntarily submit reviews, comments, suggestions, photographs, ideas or other content to us (“Feedback”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and display that Feedback for purposes connected with operating, improving and promoting our Services, subject to applicable law.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the Feedback and that your Feedback does not unlawfully infringe the rights of another person.
We may remove or decline to publish Feedback that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, offensive, fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate.
You remain responsible for the content of your Feedback.
SECTION 14 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our Website is accurate.
However, the Website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping information or other content.
Where permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to correct such errors and update information.
If an obvious error materially affects an order that has not yet been accepted, we may contact you to clarify the issue or cancel the affected order and refund any payment received.
Nothing in this section affects rights that you have under applicable consumer protection law.
SECTION 15 — PROHIBITED USES
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes.
You must not use the Services:
- for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes;
- to violate applicable laws or regulations;
- to infringe our intellectual property rights or the rights of others;
- to impersonate another person or entity;
- to submit false or misleading information;
- to distribute malware, viruses or other harmful code;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts;
- to use automated methods to interfere with or abuse the Services; or
- to engage in conduct that materially harms the Website, our business or other users.
Nothing in this section is intended to restrict lawful activities or rights that cannot legally be restricted.
SECTION 16 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The information presented on or through the Services is made available for general information purposes. We do not warrant that all information is always accurate, complete or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that access to the Website will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or otherwise affects any rights or remedies that you have under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws. In particular, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights relating to defective, faulty or non-conforming products.
Where applicable law does not permit the exclusion or limitation of a particular warranty, condition, right or remedy, that exclusion or limitation will not apply to you.
SECTION 17 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Eira Haul and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services.
However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:
- liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited;
- your statutory consumer rights;
- liability arising from defective or unsafe products where applicable law makes us responsible;
- liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
SECTION 18 — INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to compensate Eira Haul for losses or claims arising directly from your unlawful use of the Services or your material breach of these Terms.
Nothing in this section requires you to compensate us for matters for which such indemnification cannot lawfully be imposed on a consumer.
SECTION 19 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
The invalidity or unenforceability of one provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
SECTION 20 — WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean that we waive that right.
These Terms, together with the policies and documents expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of our Services, subject to any mandatory rights and obligations under applicable law.
Any ambiguity in these Terms will not automatically be interpreted against either party.
SECTION 21 — ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our prior written consent, except where permitted by law.
We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms where permitted by applicable law, including in connection with a business transfer, merger or sale of assets.
SECTION 22 — GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Finland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the laws of the country in which you reside.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms prevents you from benefiting from mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable to you.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any statutory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
Where applicable, disputes may be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in accordance with mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction rules.
SECTION 23 — HEADINGS
The headings used in these Terms are included for convenience only and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of these Terms.
SECTION 24 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
You can review the most current version of these Terms at any time on this page.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective does not affect any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
