🌿 Moya matcha premium
The highest quality organic matcha from the youngest and finest leaves from the first harvest. Used for traditional tea ceremony, it possesses a rich mellow sweet taste and creamy texture and is distinguished by its vibrant jade green colour. Moya Matcha Premium is obtained in the 1st harvest from tea plants that are specially shaded from direct sunlight. This results in higher chlorophyll and L-Theanine contents and a richer, greener color. Only the finest, most delicate fresh leaves are collected, dried and ground to powder.

🌿 Japanese organic matcha
Moya Matcha Premium is grown in the Uji region of Kyoto Prefecture, known for the cultivation of highest quality green tea for over 800 years. The Uji region is famous for its fertile soils and clean water. The green tea plants there have ideal conditions for growth thanks to hills providing good sunlight, frequent mists that protect delicate leaves from frost and high amount of rainfall. Moya Matcha is meticulously cultivated and harvested on small family-owned organic tea fields. It is then processed locally in Japan and dispatched in small batches to assure peak freshness for all our grades. This helps preserve all the qualities of the tea leaf and maintain high levels of minerals and antioxidants.

Our quality is confirmed by rigorous standards, EU-organic certification and Japanese organic certificate issued by JONA. This means that Moya Matcha is grown on lands free of pesticides and every batch is carefully checked for potential chemical residue.

🍵 Preparation
Mix half a teaspoon of matcha (1,5 g) with 150 ml of water (max. 80°C) using a bamboo chasen or milk frother until smooth & creamy.
